Location: Los Altos, CA
Type: Very Creative 20’ x 12’ Pond with a Wetland System and Stream, replacing a swimming pool.
The existing swimming pool was broken up with a backhoe and an upper wetland was created with a bridge and striking falls into the pond. This waterfall shields the garden from the highway sound. Walkways were created around the pond with groundcovers and herbaceous plants massed along the pond edges. |
